Last week, influencer-marketing company Thuzio welcomed a group of more than 60 San Francisco based executives to its latest installment of the Thuzio Executive Club (TEC).
Thuzio brought Bay area business leaders to Fisherman’s Wharf for an unforgettable event featuring MLB legend, Pete Rose.
Started in 2014, the TEC has been transforming conventional client entertainment by hosting engaging events that give its attendees direct access to sports icons.

Thuzio, a New-York based firm founded by former New York Giants star Tiki Barber, spun up the TEC two years ago as a means to bring innovation to the client engagement space.
Since its inception, the event has featured superstars, such as Lawrence Taylor, Allen Iverson and Eric Dickerson in a medium that allows for authentic connection with clients at scale.
“Everyone can use tickets to games, steak dinners or golf outings, but introducing a baseball fan client to Pete Rose is obviously unforgettable,” said Alyssa Reilly, Director of Business Development at Thuzio. “That is our simple goal: give our members and their guests the most unforgettable business night of their year.”
On this particular occasion, Pac-12 Network host Mike Yam moderated an entertaining discussion with Rose.The baseball great shared unadulterated stories, perspectives and advice ranging from locker room moments with Willie Mays to breaking down the Cubs’ World Series victory.
“There are only three pieces of advice I give to any kid who wants to play ball,” Rose explained. “Be aggressive, be more aggressive and never be satisfied.”
There was no shortage of laughs as Rose bantered with Yam and the TEC attendees. The talk and Q&A had an aura more reminiscent of a stand-up comedy special than a traditional athlete’s speaking engagement. Needless to say, fans donned smiles that spanned the duration of the event.
The night consisted of a swanky cocktail hour filled with networking and individual photo and autograph opportunities with Rose. Guests were then seated for the commencement of the main event: a conversation lead by Rose and Yam, followed by an open Q&A segment.
Guests were served a delicious three-course meal at McCormick and Kuleto’s seafood and steaks over the course of the talk and gifted an autographed version of Rose’s My Prison Without Bars at the night’s conclusion.
Overall, the event was a definite success. The experience of hearing unfiltered, first-hand stories and opinions from one of baseball’s all-times greats was second to none.
While the TEC has experienced remarkable success in its early stages, Thuzio has even more ambitious plans for the future. The goal going forward? 1,000 annual events in 30 unique markets; almost three events per day.
All signs point to Thuzio’s belief in the executive club as a sound investment. With such a powerful, unique business proposition, Thuzio is truly giving its clients the night of their lives. One can only imagine how that power will continue to grow as the operation scales.
